| Narcoossee Road Widening St. Cloud, FLDuring the widening of Narcoossee Road, several 4 foot diameter power poles were relocated. The holes remaining after pole removal were backfilled with a flowable fill. The holes at 4 of the pole locations only accepted approximately half of the fill that the other holes accepted, which prompted a geotechnical investigation. The investigation revealed very loose soil zones that would likely create shallow depressions in the new roadway, and deep compaction grouting was specified to remediate the conditions. Balfour Beatty Construction selected CFI based on reputation and over twenty years of experience in the soil stabilization industry. CFI completed the project on time and under budget. |
